Personal data

The personal data processed by Pro Warehouse are (a) personal data that you have provided directly or indirectly via the website e-mail, text message, apps or otherwise, (b) personal data obtained through the receipt of electronic messages sent by us or the use of the website, apps or similar applications, (c) personal data in het application process.

Examples of personal data you provide to us are: first name, last name, address, postal code and city, e-mail address, telephone number, IP address, browsing behaviour and other data about the use of our website.

Examples of personal data you provide to us when applying include: application letter, Curriculum Vitae (CV), references and correspondence related to the application.

The use of your data

Pro Warehouse takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration. Our customers can obtain information about the scope and use of the data registered about them with us at any time. If required, data will be changed, blocked or deleted on request. If you have signed up to receive the newsletter or similar mailings, you can unsubscribe at any time; your data will then be deleted. Video surveillance

For the safety of our employees, our physical premises are monitored with video surveillance. We record these images to maintain a safe working environment and respond quickly to incidents or threats. This contributes to the well-being of our staff so that they can carry out their work with confidence.

Retention periods video

Camera images may only be viewed by authorised persons and are automatically deleted after 28 days, unless there is a specific security need to keep them longer.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Pro Warehouse does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Pro Warehouse remains responsible for these processing operations.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or services do not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16 years of age. We therefore recommend that parents are aware of their children's online activities in order to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected a minor's personal data without permission, please contact us at info@prowarehouse.nl and we will delete this information.

Automated decision-making

Pro Warehouse does not make decisions on the basis of automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. Automated decisions are decisions made by computer programs or systems without any human (e.g. a Pro Warehouse employee) being involved.

Pro Warehouse's website uses functional and analytical 'cookies'. Cookies are small (text) files that are stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit a website.

Pro Warehouse uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. They ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered.

SSL encryption – security when purchasing online

To protect you, the customer, we use secure encryption technology. Via SSL (Secure Socket Layer), your personal data are sent encrypted (invisible to third parties). This ensures that your data will only be visible to you and our server.

What does SSL encryption mean?

When you come to our SSL-secured site, your browser examines whether our server contains the appropriate SSL certificate. An SSL digital certificate is an electronic record that identifies unique computers and servers. Digital certificates allow the web browser to check server authentication before establishing an SSL connection. When your computer releases the data, it is transmitted over the internet to our server using 128-bit encryption.

Viewing, modifying or deleting data

You have a the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Pro Warehouse, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can make a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation specified by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@prowarehouse.nl.

In order to be sure that the request for inspection was made by you, we ask you to send us a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy of your passport photo, make sure the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Dutch citizenship number cannot be read. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks at the latest.

Pro Warehouse would also like to remind you that you have the option of filing a complaint with the national regulator, the Dutch Personal Data Authority. You can do so via this link.

Storage period

Pro Warehouse does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the above purposes or as long as necessary to comply with laws and regulations. We apply a minimum period of 7 years for the data collected by our site when it comes to billing data. This is in accordance with Section 52 of the Dutch Income Tax Act and Section 8 of the Dutch Customs Act.

We retain applicant data for a maximum of 4 weeks after the conclusion of the application process, unless the applicant gives consent to retain the data for up to 1 year.

Security

Pro Warehouse has established technical and organisational measures in the processor agreement with third parties to secure Users' personal data against loss or unlawful processing.

Pro Warehouse reserves the right to amend this privacy statement. Any adjustment will be announced on this page. Pro Warehouse therefore advises stakeholders to regularly check this page to see if any changes have been made. The current privacy statement was updated on 17 May 2024.
